Deliver the Dream, a not-for-profit committed to providing retreat and rehabilitation for families in crisis, partnered with the Andy Roddick Foundation in commissioning this piece which was auctioned in Ft. Lauderdale on October 27, 2007.

The Austen Riggs Center commissioned Monte to draw the portrait of Medical Director Edward Shapiro, in residence for nearly two decades and a significant contributor to psychoanalytic research. In the late 1950′s, Norman Rockwell was commissioned to draw seven portraits of Riggs medical staff wihch are all on display in the Center’s main entrance hall.
